Gameplay
In this version you can expect the same Western-themed attributes on the reels like cowboy hats and boots, sheriff badges, bottles of booze and, of course, some revolvers. In addition to these, five different bandits feature on the reels, that each function as a Wild symbol. The highest paying symbol is the Scatter that can pay you 2,500 times your stake when you play 5 of these anywhere on the reels in one round.

Wild Symbol
Each of the 5 outlaws, Belle Starr, Della Rose, Billy the Kid, Apache Kid and Jesse James, all named of historical renegades, functions as a Wild symbol. Each bandit Wild symbol appears on its very own reel.
In Free Spins, Wild symbols become Sticky.
Scatter Symbol
The Scatter symbols is represented by the image of the two revolvers and the ox’s skull. In addition to being the highest paying symbol, it can also trigger any of the Free Spins rounds.
Free Spins
As mentioned above, Free Spins mode is triggered when you play at least 3 Scatter symbols on the reels. At the start of Free Spins mode, you get to choose whether you want to play Old Saloon, High Noon Saloon or Train Heist Free Spins. Each Free Spins mode takes you to a different setting and comes with a different variance.
Old Saloon Free Spins
This Free Spins round takes you to the saloon and you play your game at medium variance. In this mode all wins are multiplied by and any Wild symbols you play become Sticky. If you play more than one Wild Symbol on the same reel, your multiplier goes up to x2 or x3. If you play a Sticky Wild on each of the reels, then not only can you claim the win for 5-of-a-kind, but you are awarded 5 additional free spins as well.
High Noon Free Spins
This Free Spins mode is the most volatile of the 3 and takes you to a classier version of the village saloon. Every Wild that appears on the reels not only becomes Sticky, it multiplies as well. You are awarded a multiplier for every Wild you play. This mode has the Max feature that allows you to increase your win potential to no less than 100,000 times your stake.
Train Heist Free Spins
This Free Spins mode has the lowest variance and as you can imagine, it takes place in the midst of a train heist. A multiplier meter keeps track of the number of Wild symbols you play in this mode and for every Wild you play, you get an additional free spin and the meter goes up by factor 1. Once you hit factor 16, not only will any winnings be multiplied by this factor, you are also awarded 5 additional free spins.

It is not easy to live up to expectations and to come up with a worthy sequel to an incredibly popular slot game. Yet, Dead or Alive II has most definitely exceeded expectations and is a fantastic revamp of the older slot game of the same name.
