FAQ
Is it possible to have my ecoPayz account in more than one currency?
It is indeed. The e-Wallet allows you to have up to ten sub accounts which can all have a different currency. For this feature you do, however, have to upgrade your basic account to a silver level.
How do I upgrade my ecoPayz account to silver?
To do this you’re required to confirm your e-mail address, set up a security question to your account and go through a verification process.
What do I need to do in the verification process?
To verify your ecoPayz account you’ll be asked to provide a valid ID, a document proving your home address and a photo of yourself.
Am I required to upgrade my ecoPayz account to silver?
To begin with you aren’t as you can deposit to it, but to be able to withdraw any money from it you have to upgrade.
How can I withdraw money from my ecoPayz account?
You can either do this by making a bank transfer or by ordering a Mastercard that can then be used to cash out from an ATM.
Are there any limits involved in funding my ecoPayz account?
If you haven’t upgraded your account to at least silver there’s a daily limit of £175 for card deposits and £880 for bank transfers and cash vouchers. Once your account is upgraded the limits are much higher (more than £2000 daily).
Are there any limits cashing out from my ecoPayz account?
If you withdraw by bank transfer there are basically none as the limits are sky high (hundreds of thousands of pounds). Cashing out from an ATM using a Mastercard does, however, come with a daily limit of £750 – £1500, a weekly one of £5000 – £1000 and a monthly one of £15000 – £30000. The limit varies depending on your account level.
Is there any good alternative to using ecoPayz for playing casino online?
It depends on what you’re looking for in a payment method as they all come with certain pros and cons, but two that are similar to ecoPayz are Skrill and PayPal. These are also e-Wallets that, in our opinion, are slightly better as you can link a debit card to them. This means that you don’t have to fund your e-Wallet account before depositing to the casino, but can use your debit card through it.
What’s the minimum deposit when using ecoPayz at casinos?
This can be different from one gambling site to another, but most commonly you will find that the minimum deposit is set to £10.
What’s the minimum withdrawal when using ecoPayz at online casinos?
As with deposits this can vary from one ecoPayz casino to another, but usually this is also set to £10.
Does it cost anything to open an ecoPayz account?
No, but if your account is inactive for more than 12 months a monthly fee of £1.32 will be taken from your available account balance as a maintenance fee.
